Matinee Show Recorded at Green Note on Saturday 22nd June 2019.

Phil Odgers and Paul Simmonds from The Men They Couldn’t Hang have been collaborating on musical projects since 1978 when their Southampton punk group Catch 22 supported The Clash! This unique and exclusive matinee performance looks back and forward, across early work, TMTCH rarities, Liberty Cage’s brief but eventful career, solo projects and future plans…

Hear the best stories, unrivalled communal atmosphere and a selection of the finest original British songs of the last 40 years. All this on a sunny Saturday afternoon in Camden Town and time for a swift half in the Dublin Castle.

Green Note is an award-winning live music venue and vegetarian café-bar, located at 106 Parkway, London NW1 (less than 5 mins walk from Camden Town tube station). It's a unique, intimate, independent venue with a cosy vibe and friendly atmosphere. Founded in 2005 by two music-loving friends, it's become known as one of London’s top spots for folk and roots music, hosting gigs every night ranging from folk and blues to roots, world, jazz, country, bluegrass and singer-songwriters.
