On Friday 19th August 2022 I was joined by stalwart comrades Paul Simmonds and Bobby Valentino for a special show at The Water Rats in Grays Inn Road, Kings Cross, London. RMT had called a tube and bus strike that day so I decided to record the gig for posterity …and anyone that couldn’t make it out that night. it. I’m so glad I did as the resulting 90 minutes you are about to hear is a unique and often humorous peek into our musical lives.
Ali Hakimi’s was on the sound desk and it sounds great! The recording has been remastered by TMTCH producer Pat Collier.

We played two sets with the first being a full on punk folk selection of songs from our catalogue of original material spanning nigh on 40 years of rhythm – going strong!

The second set was a live Q&A session with gig promoter Tony Fraser acting as question master for the duration. Tony was armed with questions he had gathered from the audience during the interval – none of which we were privy too until they were read out live on stage.
The show is available from Bandcamp as a Digital Download or as a Double CD (which also includes digital download).

CDs are now pressed up and ready to post out when we get your order.

Another great collection of tunes from the evergreen TMTCH, I'm sure a few will be rolled out over the course of next year's 40th anniversary celebrations. Great to hear Paul taking lead on a couple of tunes, Swill's songs as superb as ever and to round it off with Cush's most vitriol-filled song - and a stonewall classic at that - is just perfect. richardw27
