Originally suggested by Mark Cogan as a song that he thought would suit my voice, I recorded a version of this for the TMTCH rarity ‘Al Green Was My Valet’ (!). I then rerecorded it in quite a different style with producer Gerry Diver - that’s the one you hear on this album.
