This Swill's Surprise Session CD brings you 52 minutes of chat and live acoustic versions of new and rarely played songs from The Men They Couldn't Hang, Swill solo and extended TMTCH family.

It's a basic no frills recording livestreamed from my kitchen and originally broadcast on 20th January 2022 as a follow on to a series of Covid 'lockdown' gigs. This session includes a ukulele version of Red Kite Rising - a song TMTCH will be recording as the first track towards a new album.

Kitchen Sink Home Recordings has come up with a completely original format. The CD will have ALL the songs – without the chat in between so you can listen through to each one in order, like you would with a regular album, BUT the last track is the WHOLE SHOW - 33 uninterrupted minutes of songs, stories, waffle! Plus be sure to listen through right to the very end for a hidden extra track.

Another great collection of tunes from the evergreen TMTCH, I'm sure a few will be rolled out over the course of next year's 40th anniversary celebrations. Great to hear Paul taking lead on a couple of tunes, Swill's songs as superb as ever and to round it off with Cush's most vitriol-filled song - and a stonewall classic at that - is just perfect. richardw27
